Social media posts feature the Sour Patch Kids in a series of absurd situations.  These posts were created by inserting images of the kids into different photos or other backgrounds.

In addition to the normal style posts, I was also able to create my own illustrated versions of the kids, which were then used in a line of temporary tattoos that they made as a special cross promotion with Tattly Temporary Tattoos, along with a few social media posts.
It was discovered that the background on Twitter images in the feed was white, but when someone clicks on the image, the background changes to black.  So by creating an image with a clear background, I was  able to design an image that changes depending on the background.  Here are gifs of the image flipping back and forth between white and black backgrounds.
